Title: Doctoral Classification CBM001 UN
Description: The Banner conversion of some large universities produced questions about the logic used to differentiate Doctoral students (or semester credit hours/credits) in the processes which compile the CBM001, 004, and 00B. Consensus opinion was that the logic in the CBM001 Student Report (UNIV) used Student Level while the enrollments reported in the CBM004 Class Report (UNIV) used Classification. Since student level is used to determine what goes in a transcript, and the normal practice is to have a single Graduate transcript including both Master’s, Doctoral, and Special Professional courses, the classification on SGASTDN is deemed a better field to identify doctoral students / hours than student level. This specification is prepared to revise the SZRCBM1 CBM001 University Student Report (UNIV) logic for Item #11 to use classification.
